As per the latest prediction made by experts, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) 2021 application form is expected to release soon, preferably by the end of this week. Candidates have been waiting ardently for the application form and official notification to release. However, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to comment on this matter. The last update about the exam was given in April 2021, when the agency decided to postpone the exam till mid-July 2021. Now, even after entering the month of September 2021, there has been no announcement regarding the exam.
Every year, the CSIR NET notification and application form is released in the month of March. After a period of two months, the eligibility test is conducted in May. However, this year, the COVID-19 pandemic created disruptions in the usual schedule. The second wave of coronavirus created a ruckus in the country from March to July 2021. Thereafter, as the country began to recover from the pandemic, many important national-level exams have been conducted.
While the NTA successfully conducted exams like JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021, it has not provided an update on the CSIR UGC NET 2021 examination. However, experts suggest that the application form is likely to release this week, by Sunday, September 19, 2021. If this happens, the fellowship eligibility test is likely to be conducted in the third or fourth week of November 2021. However, candidates must bear in mind that these are just assumptions and authorities are yet to confirm or reject them.
To deal with this uncertainty, candidates are advised to visit the official website csirnet.nta.nic.in frequently for the latest updates pr announcements. Following a credible news portal will also prove useful till the agency releases the application form.
