CSIR-Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CEERI), Pilani (Rajasthan) is inviting applications to fill up 20 project staff vacancies on a temporary basis. CSIR-CEERI have issued a detailed recruitment notification in this regard at the official website ceeri.res.in. As per the notice, the vacancies are available under various ongoing projects of the institute. Eligible and interested candidates are encouraged to apply online for recruitment at the official website as specified here. The last date to apply online is August 13, 2020.
20 vacancies for various posts in projects under the Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Smart Sensors (SS) and Microwave Devices (MWD) areas are advertised by the Institute. There are 13 vacancies altogether available for the posts of Project Assistant-III in different projects under the aforementioned areas. 02 vacancies are available for the post of Project Assistant-II. There is a single vacancy available for the post of Project Associate-I in a project under the CPS area. 02 vacancies are available for the post of Project Associate-II in a project under the CPS area. In addition, there are 02 vacancies available for the post of Junior Research Fellow in a project under the MWD area. In order to apply for the recruitment, candidates have to fulfil the specified minimum eligibility conditions in terms of qualification and age. Candidates can check the post-wise eligibility conditions from the detailed recruitment notification. The maximum age of the applicants cannot be more than 30/35 years depending on the post being applied for. Candidates also need to have a B.E./B.Tech., M.E./M.Tech., M.Sc./M.S. qualification in a relevant discipline depending on the post being applied for. Selected candidates who are appointed to the posts advertised are entitled to receive consolidated monthly emoluments depending upon the post. The highest remuneration is Rs 35000 per month while the lowest remuneration is Rs 25000 per month depending on the post appointed to.
The selection of eligible applicants is to be done through online interviews. Selected candidates will be informed through registered email/institute website about the date and time of the interview, The interviews are to be hosted over the MS Teams platform. Candidates have to join the virtual meeting by clicking on the invitation link sent to them through email. Upon selection, candidates are expected to join immediately. During the time of joining, candidates have to produce all original documents and testimonials include mark sheets and certificates along with a passport sized photograph.
The applications can only be submitted online through the official website of the Institute. The application link will remain open only till the last date and candidates submitting online/offline applications after the last date will not be considered for recruitment. Finally shortlisted candidates are to be appointed for a maximum tenure of 05 years. Those who have served in a similar or equivalent position in the past in the Institute or in any other lab/institute for a total period of 05 years are not eligible to apply. However, those who have not completed the tenure of 05 years can apply and if selected, will be appointed for the remaining period till the completion of 05 years in total.
