Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released the admit cards for the Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2021. Admit cards are available for download on the official website comedk.org. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 14, 2021, two days after the NEET 2021 exam. However, the UGET 2021 exam being held only for admission to Engineering courses. Admission to medical and Dental courses will be conducted through the NEET exam, as mandated in 2020. Hence, there is a minute chance of things getting chaotic due to clash of both exams.
COMEDK UGET 2021 admit cards contain certain guidelines which need to be carefully read and followed by the registered candidates. These instructions specifically pertain to the COVID-19 guidelines that need to be followed at the exam centre. Accordingly,
#1 All candidates have to maintain social-distancing at the exam centre right from their entry to their exit. Failure to do so may lead to disciplinary action against the aspirant.
#2 Those who are reporting to a particular centre must have their Aarogya Setu application already installed on their phones. Having said that, in case candidates do not own a smartphone, they must sign a declaration for the same at the entry of the exam centre.
#3 Authorities will be checking the temperature of every candidate at all COMEDK UGET 2021 exam centres before granting him/her entry.
#4 Candidates who show any Covid-specific symptoms will not be permitted to attend the examination. Only those who have their temperature within the acceptable range will be granted entry.
#5 The required documents include unique or original photo ID, COMEDK UGET 2021 admit card and 2 passport-size pictures. The phot ID can be Aadhar Card, PAN card, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID, etc.
#6 The passport-size photographs must be similar to the one uploaded during the registration process. Moreover, candidates have to mention their name and admit card number at the back of the photographs.
#5 On the exam day i.e., September 14, 2021, candidates must carry their own safety kit which includes mask, gloves, hand sanitiser, transparent water bottle, pencil and the required documents.
#6 Apart from the mentioned items, candidates are not permitted to carry any other items such as electronic devices, textual/study material, Bluetooth devices, paper bits, etc.
Only for the purpose of showing the Aarogya Setu app status, candidates must carry their smartphones. However, they may be asked to place the smartphones somewhere within the centre premises before the exam begins.
