Coconut Development Board Recruitment 2019 Update: Jr Steno, LDC, MTS Shortlisted / Rejected Candidates List To Release Soon

Candidates will be shortlisted for selection test on the basis of age, experience, qualification and other factors.

Coconut Development Board Recruitment 2019

Government job after class 10th in Coconut Development Board is being offered for the posts of junior stenographer, lower division clerk, and multi tasking staff. Though the number of vacancies is only 13, the recruitment has caught the attention of job seekers. A number of applications have been received by the board, and now the list of shortlisted and rejected candidates will be released.

Updating the applicants with what is going on, the vacancy page of coconutoboard.nic.in has a new message that says “ List of shortlisted/ rejected candidates for the post of Jr. Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk and Multi Tasking Staff will be published in this website.”

The board informs that it is now scrutinizing applications. As per the latest notification, the board has underlined that the qualification prescribed is the “minimum” qualification and having that does not directly imply that applicant will be called for selection test. 

Candidates are informed that only shortlisted candidates will be called for further process. Shortlisting is being done on the basis of qualification, experience, age, and other factors. 

After shortlisting candidates, the Coconut Development Board will publish a list of shortlisted candidates, and a list of rejected candidates. At the same time or some time later, details of selection test will be revealed.

Right now the selection test details are not available, they were not published in the recruitment notification. Dates, syllabus, exam pattern will be published after shortlisted candidates are made known. The exam is expected to be of such a level that is suitable for class 10th pass government job seekers.

Either public notification will be made regarding the same, or shortlisted candidates will be individually communicated of the same. Either ways, candidates are advised to check the official website coconutboard.in at regular intervals and also their registered email id and mobile numbers. 

Coconut Development Board recruitment 2019 is for the purpose of filling 3 vacancies of junior stenographer, 3 for lower division clerk, and 7 for multi tasking staff. Junior stenographer post is in level 4 pay matrix that is eligible for Rs 25,500 – Rs 81,100. Lower division clerk is for level 2, Rs 19,900 – Rs 63,200. And Multi Tasking Staff is in level 1, Rs 18,000 – Rs 56,900. 

The upper age limit for Jr Steno and LDC is 30 years, whereas MTS post is open for 18 to 25 year old job seekers. While class 10th pass is the basic requirement for all the posts, for the first two, graduation will get preference. Preference in jr steno will also be determined for those with 80 wpm shorthand, and 40 wpm typewriting. Likewise in LDC post, those with 40 wpm typewriting are preferred.

CDB, Coconut Development Board is a statutory body under the government of India. Its aim is to enhance the productivity of coconuts and introduce diversification in the same. The board came into being in the year 1981.
