Chief Medical and Health Officer, Balodabazar (Chattisgarh) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill up vacancies for various medical/paramedical and other posts. CMHO Balodabazar has published a detailed recruitment notification to fill up 49 vacancies for the advertised posts. The notification is available at the official website of the district i.e. balodabazar.gov.in. As per the detailed recruitment notification, the vacancies are available for various posts viz. Medical Specialists (15), Medical Officers (09), Pharmacist (01), Radiographer (03), Lab Technician (06), Ward Body (03) and Group D/Security Guard (12). All of the vacancies are for Civil Hospitals and Health Centres in the district under the National Health Mission. For Medical Specialist posts, candidates are to be paid a monthly salary of up to Rs 1,20,000. Medical Officers are entitled to receive a salary of Rs 70,000. For the post of Pharmacist, Lab Technician and Radiographer, the monthly salary is Rs 20000. Wards boys are entitled to a monthly salary of Rs 12000 while Security Guards are entitled to a monthly salary of Rs 10000.

Intending candidates are advised to read the official notification for the complete eligibility details and ensure that they fulfil the same before applying for the recruitment. One must be an Indian citizen domiciled in the district of Balodabazar in Chhattisgarh in order to apply for the recruitment. All applicants must be at least 18 years old in order to apply. Furthermore, the maximum age of the applicants for the posts of Medical Specialists and Medical Officers is 70 years. While for the other posts, the maximum age limit is 64 years.
Candidates must be holding an MD/DA/DGO/DNB/DCH/MS qualification in the respective specialization in order to apply for the post of Specialists. On the other hand, for the post of Medical Officer, candidates must be holding an MBBS degree and registration with Chhattisgarh Medical Council. Those who intend to apply for the post of Pharmacist must have a B.Pharm or D.Pharm qualification along with registration in CG Pharmacy Council.
In addition to the above, 12th pass candidates who have completed Paramedical Course and are registered with the CG Paramedical Council can apply for the post of Radiographer. Similarly, those who have completed DMLT/BMLT course and are registered with the CG Paramedical Council can apply for the post of Lab Technician. 8th pass candidates can apply for Ward Boy posts, while Class 5 pass candidates who have Skill Development Training can apply for Group D/Security Guard post.
Selection of the eligible applicants is to be done on the basis of merit determined as per eligibility criteria, educational qualification and experience. Those who are shortlisted on the basis of merit have to appear in an interview and document verification stage for final selection.
