CMAT 2019 Test Centre Locator Available

National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently added a test centre locator service on the official website. Candidates who are appearing for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2019 can use the service to locate the exam centre. The venue for the examination has been written on the CMAT admit card along with the exam timings. In the link provided by NTA, candidates have to select their allotted test centre and then Google Map will show the exact location of the venue.

NTA has also released the exam advisory mentioning the important instructions for the exam. Since CMAT is a computer-based exam, proper measures will be taken to conduct the exam smoothly without any hindrance. The exam centre will be under CCTV surveillance and jammer equipped. Also, candidates must follow the exam rules to avoid inconvenience later.

#1. No Entry without these documents

It is essential that candidates have CMAT 2019 Admit Card, photo identity proof, and a photograph with them. Prefer to have a colored print out on the A-4 size paper. The photograph should be same as uploaded in the application form as it needs to be pasted on the attendance sheet. Importantly, the identity proof must be in the original. Driving License/ PAN Card/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhar are only valid proofs. If applicable candidates must also bring PwD certificate.

#2. Note the exam day schedule

Candidates have to follow the exam timings as mentioned by NTA. The CMAT exam will take place in two sessions. The first session will conduct between 09:30 am to 12:30 pm and the candidates must reach the centre latest by 08:30 am. The second session will conduct between 02:30 pm to 05:30 pm and the reporting time is between 12:30 pm to 01:30 pm. Reach the centre in time before the closing of the registration desk.

#3. Say no to prohibited items

Candidates must not carry anything apart from important documents. Any kind of study material (Geometry, stationery etc), electronic items (mobile phones/ camera/ pager), metallic items (jewelry/ gadgets), eatables are not allowed in the test premises. If any candidate found in possession of these items, then they have to leave them outside the exam hall. Diabetic students are allowed to bring sugar tablets, fruits or transparent water bottles.

#4. Documents to submit

After the completion of the exam, candidates have to submit the rough sheet, pens and the admit card to the invigilator. Also, all the rough sheets taken must have name and roll number written on the top of it.

#5. Avoid any Malpractice

If a candidate found breaking any rules of the examination, then strict action will be taken against him/her. Maintain silence in the exam hall and follow all the instructions as given by the test administrator.

CMAT 2019 Answer key

Once the exam is over, NTA will release the official answer key within one week after the exam. The answer key will be published along with the student’s response sheet and objection window. Candidates can raise the challenges in case of any doubts.
