The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has released the notification for CISF 2019 Head Constable recruitment at cisf.gov.in. CISF is activating the online application window from January 21 to February 20, 2019, by 05:00 PM. CISF has introduced new privilege in this recruitment. The appointed candidates will be entitled by the pension scheme, as per the “New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme”.
The application form are being invited from the male and female Indian candidates of 18 to 25 years. The minimum qualification for this recruitment is class 12th. An appropriate relaxation has been provided in upper age limit to reserved category candidates. Apart from this, the recruitment authority has laid down some physical measurement criteria, those who will fulfill the criteria can apply.
The post for which the recruitment is being conducted is for a temporary post of Head Constable. The number of vacancies which will be filled vis this recruitment is 429. In total 429, 328 vacancies are reserved for the male candidates, whereas only 37 are put for the female candidates. However, for Limited Department Competitive Examination (LDCE) 64 vacancies are secured. The vacancies are subject to change anytime, as per the official notification it has been clearly mentioned that, vacancies can be increased or decreased anytime in future.
The application form will be open at the official website, cisfrectt.in. Except for online mode, another mode of application will not be provided to the candidates. While applying candidates have to pay a certain amount as the application fee, the unreserved and OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- as application fee, however, SC/ST Ex-Servicemen and woman candidates are exempted to pay. To get the relaxation in application fee the candidates have to submit the appropriate certificate issued by the competent authority.

The candidates who will submit the form in time will be issued the call letter for the first stage of the recruitment process.
To be selected as the Head Constable in CISF the candidates have to undergo the 05 stages. The first stage is Physical standard test (PST) also known as Height Bar Test there the candidates will be measured as per the physical standard laid down by the authority. After PST the candidates have to appear for Documentation, written Test, skill test (Typewriting test) and detailed medical examination one by one. But the sequence of examination can be changed.
In addition to this type of written examination have not fixed yet, it could be OMR based or computer based. The qualifying marks for the written examination are 35% for general and Ex-Serviceman and 33% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
