Bharat Electronics Limited is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up 60 contractual vacancies for the post of Project Engineer (Medical Devices). BEL has published an official recruitment notification in this regard at the official website bel.co.in. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online at the aforementioned website on or before the last date. The last date to apply online is August 26, 2020.
As per the official recruitment notification, the vacancies for 60 Project Engineers (Medical Devices) are available for the company’s Export Manufacturing SBU, Bengaluru Complex. 23 vacancies are unreserved while 06 are reserved for EWS candidates, 17 are reserved for OBC candidates, 09 are reserved for SC candidates and 05 are reserved for ST candidates. Selected candidates are to be posted at District Headquarters in the various States of India. Candidates will be required to travel extensively throughout the country and relocate if necessary. The initial period of employment will be for a period of 02 years and extendable to a maximum of 04 years. During the first year, candidates are entitled to a monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs 35000. The remuneration is increased to Rs 40000, Rs 45000 and Rs 50000 by the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year respectively.
Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the minimum specified eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment. The maximum permissible age of the applicants is 28 years for General and EWs candidates. However, relaxations on the upper age is permissible for candidates belonging to special reserved categories. Candidates must have a full time 04 years B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engineering degree in any of the disciplines of Electronics or Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Telecommunication, Communication, Mechanical, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, Medical Electronics or Medical Instrumentation. General, OBC and EWS candidates must have a first class degree while SC, ST and PWD candidates can have a Pass Class degree in order to apply. In addition, post qualification experience of 02 years or more is required in the field of Industrial Electronics Manufacturing along with knowledge of Medical Equipment.
Eligible applicants are to be shortlisted for online interview on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying degree and work experience. 75% marks are allocated against the marks obtained in qualifying degree. 10% of marks are allocated against the relevant work experience. Candidates are to be shortlisted for online interview on a 1:5 ratio. 15% of the marks are allocated to the interview. The marks must be indicated as a percentage. Wherever applicable, candidates have to convert CGPA into percentage of marks as per guidelines provided by the concerned University. Intimation about the conduct of selection interview of merit listed candidates is to be sent through email.

Applications once submitted cannot be edited or modified. An application fee of Rs 500 must be submitted by General, EWS and OBC candidates. The fees can be submitted through SBI Collect (Online) or SBI Branch (Offline). SC/ST and PWD candidates are exempted from the payment of any application fee. In addition, relevant documents in the scanned format must be uploaded along with the application form as specified in the official recruitment notification.
