The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) has announced the exam dates for the CCRAS LDC 2021 on its website i.e. admission-delhi.nielit.gov.in. According to the notice released on the official website today, the examination will be conducted on August 1, 2021.
The admit card of the written examination has been scheduled to be released on July 22, 2021. The examination initially scheduled for April 11, 2021, has been postponed amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The council has released the official notification for 30 vacancies in the CCRAS for the post of LDC on November 20, 2019.
According to the official notification available on the website, the examination will be conducted in multiple stages. The written exam of LDC will be conducted in two shifts i.e. Shift 1 will be held from 9:30 am – 11:00 a.m while Shift 2 will be held from (12:30 pm – 2:00 pm. In a similar way, the notice also mentions that the written exam of UDC has been scheduled from 4:00 p.m – 6:00 p.m.
The admit card for CCRAS LDC will be available solely on the official website of the council. The candidates who have applied for the post of Lower Division Clerk have to find the Download Admit Card Link for CCRAS LDC 2021. On clicking it the candidates will be redirected to the admit card page. Therein, the candidates have to enter their Application Number and Date of Birth and click on the Download Admit Card option.
The admit card mentions important details i.e. Candidate’s information, Test center address, Shift number, and Login Id and password. The candidates need to cross-check all the details available on the admit card. In the event of any error or discrepancy, the candidates need to get it rectified by the authorities.
The candidates who do not remember their Application Number are required to hit the Forgot Application Number option. Post this, they will be required to enter the Registered Primary Mobile No and Candidate’s Date of birth and click on Application Details. The candidate’s application details will be available on the next page that they can note down to download the admit card.
As per the exam pattern released by official sources, there will be an offline test conducted in pen and paper mode. There will be questions from four subjects in the exam namely, General Intelligence, Numerical Aptitude, English language, and General Awareness. Each section will have 25 questions and the total number of questions asked in the exam will be 100.
The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes for regular students while there will be additional 30 minutes for handicapped students. For each correct answer. the candidate will get 1 mark while there will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for wrong answers.
