CBSE Confirms: No Delay in Results

Recently, CBSE class 10th Mathematics and class 12th Economics Question Papers were leaked and the whole nation was in shock. So the board decided to re-conduct the Economics Exam on April 25, 2018. Many students protested against the management of CBSE regarding the re-exam. Due to all these controversies, everyone now expects that the results will be delayed.

But CBSE has relieved the students by giving the statement that there will be no delay in the results. The question paper leaks will not affect the declaration of the result.

Class 10 result is looked forward to be announced in the month of June. More than 16 lakh students have appeared for the exams. The board has further decided not to hold re-exam for class 10 mathematics.

Likewise, class 12 result will be announced in the month of May. Results of arts, science, commerce streams will be announced at once.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has also confirmed that there will be no mishappening in the result this year. Last year, the examiners made some mistakes in totalling the marks. So to avoid these kinds of unfortunate events, the board has decided that the copies will be checked two times by two different examiners this time.

Last year, a student of Mumbai earned 80% and above in all the exams but in Mathematics he scored just 50 marks. Then he requested for re-checking of his answer sheet and after the re-evaluation, his marks increased by 40 and eventually he got 90 marks in Maths. The list of similar cases were long. There are more such similar cases like the Mumbai guy. Thus, the board has built up a better and trustworthy evaluation process this time.

According to an official source, the head examiners and assistant examiners will have more responsibility this time. The assistant examiners will obtain four more examiners under him/her. Those four examiners will be grouped into pairs. These activities will be helpful in making the evaluation process even better.

CBSE Result 2018 for the Class 10 and Class 12 will be declared online on the official website of CBSE i.e. cbse.nic.in. There will be separate links available to check the result of both classes. To access the result, you will have to enter your Roll Number, Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY), and School Number which will be mentioned in your Admit Card.

In 2017, nearly 11 lakhs candidates appeared in class 12th exams. In which around 6,38,865 students were boys and 4,60,026 were girls which were incremented from 10 lakhs students in 2016. The overall pass percentage was approximately 82%. The girls won the race as their percentage was 87.50% in comparison of boys’ percentage (78%).

If we talk about class 10th statistics, the number students who appeared for the 2017 exams were 16,67,573. The overall percentage was nearly 90.95%. Around 28 lakhs students have participated in CBSE 2018 Exams across the country. Only time will tell what their percentages will be.

Considering all these dissensions, students are anxious about this year’s result. They are worried about the re-exam and the difficulty level of the exams. CBSE had previously ensured that they will not be biased in making the papers. However, some students found them tough and some found them easy. But the authorities made sure that no paper made any student too nervous.

So, All the best students! And it is ensured that the results will not be delayed. For more news on board exam results, keep in touch with us.
