CBSE Class 12th 2018 Topper Meghna Srivastava Aced the Exam with 499 Marks

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced CBSE class 12th Result 2018. The exam has been topped by a female candidate. Meghna Srivastava, from Step by Step school, has secured the first position. She hails from Ghaziabad and has displayed an excellent performance by securing 499 marks out of 500, in the exam.

Meghana is from Humanities stream and has got 99 marks in English, 100 in History, 100 in Geography, 100 in Psychology, and 100 marks in Economics. Following her in the race is Anoushka Chandra, from SAJ School. She got 498 marks out of 500 and is also from the Humanities stream. Her scores in English, History, Political Science, Economics, and Psychology are 98, 100, 100, 100, and 100, respectively. Congratulation to all the topper! More success to you in future. The CBSE Class 12th examination was held in 4,138 centers in India and 71 centers in foreign nations. The exams were shadowed with the paper leak but the Board has managed to announce the result on time. Also Check: NEET 2018 Result to announce on 05 Jun

This year, 11,86,306 students registered for CBSE class 12th. The pass percentage of the candidates is 83.01%. The percentage has increased by 1% in comparison to last year. In 2017, the pass percentage was 82.02%

The girls have out-performed boys this time. The total pass percentage of girls is 88.31%, whereas, the pass percentage of boys is 78.99%. This a huge difference of 9.32%. Even last year the performance of the girls was better than that of boys.

Those who have not checked the result yet can do so from the official website, cbseresults.nic.in. To ensure that all the candidates can check the result without any problem. CBSE has also provided the facility to check it on Google, Microsoft Search Engine, IRVS, SMS, and UMANG App.

To check the result on Google, the candidates just need to type CBSE 12th Result 2018 on Google and a login will appear on the screen. There, the candidates have to enter roll number, center number, and school number to check the result.

The CBSE Class 12th Result on Microsoft Search Engine can be check by downloading the app from play store. In order to register, the candidates will have to enter roll number, school code, and date of birth. The result will be notified to the candidates via SMS.

Through SMS CBSE result can be checked by sending SMS – cbse12 <roll number> <school number> <center number> to 7738299899 number. The number for IVRS mode of result checking are 24300699 for Delhi Region and 011-2430699 for other region. Candidates can now download their digitally signed marks sheet from DigiLocker. To do so, students have to make an account on it and login with the generated username and password.
