CBSE Class 12 Result 2018 Pass Percentage Rises, Meghna Srivastva Tops With 99.8%

Along with CBSE 12th Class Result here we get the Pass percentage of this year. CBSE Class 12th 2018 Pass percentage is 83.01%. Today Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the most-awaited result i.e. 12th Class Result 2018 on 12:21 PM. By announcing this result CBSE has ended the suspense. CBSE conducted the 12th Class Board Exams form March 05, 2018 to April 04, 2018.CBSE Class 12th Examination 2018 held on 4,138 centers in India and 71 centers outside the country. The students who have appeared in the 12th Class Board Exams can check their result from here.

CBSE has given four options to check the CBSE Class 12th Results, the students can check their result on Google, Microsoft, SMS, and CBSE’s Official Website. This year CBSE introduced a new feature to get the Digital Mark sheet. Students can get Digital Marksheet by DigiLocker.gov. To get the Digital Marksheet the candidates has to provide their login credentials and have to synchronize the Adhaar no with DigiLocker.

We have done the analysis of CBSE 12th Class Pass Percentage. Last Year CBSE 12th Class Pass percentage was 82 %. As compared to last year this year Pass Percentage has risen by 01.01%. Approx 11,86,306 Students registered for in CBSE 12th Class Board Exams, and 9,84,752 students passed the exam.

The reason why pass percentage has climbed up is, This year, the CBSE allowed students with special needs concessions and facilities like the use of computers for answering their exams. The board also gave relaxation in attendance up to 50% for students with special needs. That can be one of the reason of Pass percentage rising.

By doing Gender wise result tally we get that, this time girls defeated boys by 09.32 %. Girls did better than boys with 88.31 % passing percentage whereas passing percentage of boys is the only 78.99%. And we have the approximately same data of last year, with 87.50 percent girls clearing the exams as against only 78 percent of the boys. Boys loose with 9.5 %.

Once again a Girl Meghna Shrivastav of Step by Step School Delhi Topped with securing 499 marks and 99.8 % percentage. On the second position is again a girl Anushka Chandra with 498 marks out of 500. The third ranks have been occupied by seven students with same marks of 497 out of 500 marks.

Last year a 17-year-old girl Raksha Gopal of Amity University (Delhi Campus) from Noida, topped CBSE Class 12th exam by after scoring 99.6 percent. Bhoomi Sawant from DAV Public School (Chandigarh) clinched the second rank with 497 marks, and the third rank with 496 marks was shared by Aditya Jain and Mannat Luthra, both from Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh.

Trivandrum region tops with 97.32 pass percentage followed by Chennai region with 93.87% & Delhi region with 89% in CBSE class 12 results. Same as in the last year the best city was Thiruanatpuram which had the highest pass percentage of 95.62 % followed by Chennai and Delhi with 92.60 % and 88.37 % respectively.

72599 candidates scored 90% and above marks in CBSE class 12 Result 2018. 12737 students have scored 95% and above in CBSE class 12 Results. Last year Ajay R Raj topped the exam by securing 98 %. In 2017, 2,517 differently-abled students registered for the exam, out of which 2,449 appeared for it and 2,123 passed. Their performance saw 86.69 passing percentage.

After declaring the Result CBSE will conduct the Post – Result – CBSE counselling which will begin from May 26, 2018, and continue till June 09, 2018 from 8 am to 10 pm on all days. During the Counselling, CBSE will provide the Services to students and their parents to overcome common psychological problems and general queries related to Class 12th and 10th Result. The helpline number for the counselling is 1800 11 8004. CBSE is conducting this Counselling over 21 consecutive years.
