Why has CBSE 12th Term 1 Result 2021 – 2022 been delayed? Will they also be offline or at cbseresults.nic.in?

Chances are high that the CBSE 12th term 1 result 2021-2022 will be announced in the offline mode after the Holi vacations are over.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the results for the class 12 term 1 2021-2022 exams by this week. Last week, the Board has already announced the results for the class 10 term 1 exams and the students had to collect the marksheets from the respective schools. At this point, CBSE has not announced any fixed date on which students can expect the results to be out.

Speculations are rife that the CBSE 12th term 1 result 2021-2022 will be announced after the Holi vacations are over. The class 10 results that were announced earlier, reportedly, had too many errors. Hence, it is likely that just to avoid that same for class 12, the board is presently rechecking the results due to which there has been a delay.

Will results be declared offline?

CBSE has announced the class 10 term 1 result in the offline mode. However, students were expecting the results to be declared in the online mode. The schools were sent the marksheets of the students over email while the students had to collect the same physically. Since this trend was followed for class 10, it is likely that a similar pattern will be used for declaring the class 12 results.

The Board is likely to send the results to the schools at any time. The schools have complete records of the students’ internal, practical and project marks. According to a video released by Vishal Kumar Jaiswal, the schools will be sent the marks scored by the students in the theory exams and the schools, in turn, will issue the performance sheets to the students. Just like class 10, the result declaration process for CBSE 12th term 1 exams will begin by morning.

As per a report by NDTV, more than 36 lakh students had appeared for the CBSE class 12 term 1 examinations that were held in November and December 2021. The term 1 result will not specify whether the student has passed or failed in the examination. This will be mentioned in the final result which will be announced after the completion of the CBSE term 2 exams. The board has released the date sheet of class 12 term 2 exams which will be held from April 26 to June 15, 2022. Students and guardians are advised to keep an eye on the official website – cbse.gov.in for all updates.
