Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) released the hall tickets for the B.Ed (special education) on March 16, 2022. The candidates appearing for the exam can now download the admit cards from the official website – braouonline.in. The exam is scheduled to be held on March 20 from 2 PM to 4 PM across various centers in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Candidates are advised to download the admit cards before the date of the exam. Follow the below steps mentioned to download the admit cards.
Step 1. Go to the official website – braouonline.in
Step 2. Go to the examinations notifications tab.
Step 3. Click on Download Hallticket for B.Ed (Special Education) Entrance Test 2021-22.
Step 4. A new window will open up.
Step 5. Enter your application number.
Step 6. Click on submit.
Step 7. Download and save the admit card.

BRAOU B.Ed Exam Pattern
The entrance test for the B.Ed (SE) course tests the candidates on their English comprehension and general mental ability. It is an objective MCQ-based exam for 100 marks with every question carrying one mark each. Part A of the paper which is English comprehension consists of reading comprehension, articles, prepositions, tenses, spelling, vocabulary, the transformation of sentences for 40 marks. Part B on General mental ability consists of logical, analytical reasoning, and verbal, abstract reasoning for 60 marks.
The candidates need to secure a minimum of 35 marks to qualify for the exam. SC/ST candidates are extended concession and do not require to secure the qualifying marks to score a rank. A merit rank is awarded to the qualifying candidates based on which the candidate’s eligibility to admission is decided.
About B.Ed (special education) Course
The B.Ed (special education) course can be completed between 2/12 to 6 years. The candidates can choose between two mediums of instruction- English and Telugu. As per the official notice published by the BRAOU there are a total of 500 seats available for the B.Ed (special education) course this academic year across 11 programme centers. The centers are allotted to the eligible candidates based on their choice of the same in the application form. The number of programme centers available vary as per the area of specialization, there two centers for B.Ed. SE (Area of Specialization in Visual Impairment-VI), four for B.Ed. SE (Area of Specialization in Hearing Impairment-HI) and five for B.Ed. SE (Area of Specialization in Intellectual Disability-ID).
