The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) has released the CAT 2021 admit card today, October 27, 2021. Registered candidates who will be appearing for the examination can now download the admit cards from iimcat.ac.in. The downloading process has already begun from 5 PM onwards. CAT 2021 examination will take place on November 28, 2021. The upcoming admission test will be conducted for admitting students to programmes like MBA and PGDM across the IIMs and MBA colleges in the country.
Since the CAT 2021 admit card is already out, candidates can easily download it by following the steps given below.
Step 1- Firstly, visit the official website of CAT 2021 – iimcat.ac.in
Step 2- Click the ‘Login’ button under the ‘Registered Candidate Login’ heading
Step 3- The candidate login page will open
Step 4- Enter login credentials such as user ID, password and press the ‘Login’ button
Step 5- Download the CAT 2021 admit card and take a printout of the same.

After downloading the admit cards, it is advisable that a candidate takes care of certain things to avoid discrepancies during the examination. So, here are the five important things that one should look into after receiving the admit cards.
#1. Check every personal detail such as name, date of birth, emergency contact number, etc. These details should be correct without any minor errors.
#2. Go through the examination centre details that are mentioned in the CAT 2021 admit card. Take note whether the centre is as per the preferences selected by the candidate during the online application. Also, have a rough idea about how far the examination centre is so that one can plan their journey accordingly.
#3. Carefully note down the reporting time of the examination. Many a time, candidates overlook the reporting time and reach the examination centres late. As a result, they do not get allowed to enter the centres. It is advised to reach before the reporting time, if possible.
#4. Match one’s signature and photo in the CAT 2021 admit card. In case they are misprinted, it is likely that the candidate has made some mistake while filling the application form and did not get it corrected via the correction window. In case there is an error in the admit card, send an email to the concerned officials immediately.
#5. Note down the examination timings and see which slot one has been assigned to. It is important because from now onwards, one can attempt the mock tests at the exact examination time. This will help in preparing the brain to improve one’s efficiency.
