Yesterday evening, The Board of Secondary Education Odisha (BSEO) has released the admit card of Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 at osstet.in. The OSTET exam will hold on October 05, 2018. The candidate who has applied for the exam are now able to download the admit card. The Board has released the admit card through the login window.
In order to get the admit card candidates have to provide the registered email id and password. The aspirants can download the admit card till the day of the exam.
The Steps to download the OSSTET admit card
First of all candidates have to visit the officail website i. e. osstet.in
Then find the link which says “Click here to Login” just above the line “Admit card are available to download”
Now the candidates will be redirected to the image shown above.
Thereafter, the candidatse have to enter the registered email id and password.
On entering the details the admit card page will open.
Now download it and keep it safe.
The candidates should note that the Teacher Eligibility Test will hold for two categories. The category I is for Primary Level Teacher i. e. for Teaching Class I to V. And the second one is Category II which is for Teaching Class VI to VIII. The candidates have to appear in exam for the category they applied for.
Scheme of Examination
For each category, the exam will hold for the duration of 02 hours 30 minutes on the same day. The question paper of OSSTET will be in the English language only apart from the language-specific paper.
There is no provision for negative marking in OSSTET.
Both the exam for category I and II will hold on the same day. It is mandatory to carry admit card in the examination hall.
The validity of Eligibility Certificate and and Criteria To Obtain It
The candidates who will appear in the TET and will able to crack the exam, Board will provide them the Eligibility Certificate. According to this eligibility certificate, the candidates who achieved it is eligible to Teach in Secondary School all over the Odisha state.
The validity of the certificate depends upon the age of the candidates. The certificate will be valid until the candidate reaches the upper age limit prescribed by the Govt. from time to time.
The candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks to get the certificate. However, for different categories of candidates, this marks differs such as an unreserved category candidate have to obtain 60% or more in each paper. Whereas the candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC have to obtain 50% marks. They have provided the relaxation of 10% in marks.
