Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2019 online application form at 11 am today, at bsebstet2019.in. The form filling and submission process of the state level teacher eligibility test for teaching aspirants of classes 9th to 12th in Bihar, is completely online. As the registration begins, candidates can make use of the general instructions, how to apply, and frequently asked questions uploaded on the website.
Before applying, candidates must keep ready those details which they need to fill in the form, which they can see in the how to apply PDF document at bsebstet2019.in. This includes scanned copy of photograph and signature. Photograph, should be 100-150 kb, and signature should be 50-100 kb. Dimension should be 3.5 cms by 4.5 cms.
Step #1. To apply, candidates should go to bsebstet2019.in and click on the “register (new candidate)” link.
To register, one has to provide details that are name, mobile no, email id, gender, and date of birth. Then they have to click the submit and continue button. BSEB underlines that details entered here cannot be changed.
BSEB sends application number and password to candidates through email and sms after this step.
Step #2. To apply, candidates should go to bsebstet2019.in and click on the “register (new candidate)” link.
Now candidates have to login with the received application number and password. Then, they have to enter all details asked in the application form, which include personal details, educational details. Candidates may refer their certificates while undertaking this step.
In this step only, candidates will have to upload their photograph and signature. On successfully completing it, a preview page is generated. Candidates must ensure at this stage that all details are correct.
Step #3. Then in the last step, candidates have to pay application fee.
BSEB has provided net banking, debit card, credit card as the modes of payment. Once fee is paid, a registration slip is generated.
General, OBC, EBC candidates applying for only one paper have to pay Rs 500, to apply for both papers they have to pay Rs 800. SC, ST, PWD candidates need to pay Rs 300 to apply for one paper, and Rs 500 for both.
Candidates must apply with their own email ID, as all communications from the board will be sent to the same. Same applies for mobile number.
The board will not accept any form of registration besides the one in online mode. If there is any delay in accessing the page, then candidates may try in some time. The board advises aspirants to apply sooner, rather than waiting for the last minute.
The last date to apply online is September 18, 2019. BSEB STET 2019 will be held on November 7, 2019. There are 25,270 vacancies for classes 9th and 10th teachers, and 12,065 vacancies for classes 11th and 12th teachers.
