Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha is all set to organise OTET 2021 Exam on April 09, 2021. OTET comprises of two papers – Paper 1 for Class I to V teachers and Paper II for class VI to VIII teachers. The OTET admit card 2021 will be out today i.e March 31, 2021. Eligible candidates who have successfully submitted their online application can download their call letters from bseodisha.nic.in.
Candidates who are appearing for Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2021 must have the registration number and mobile number to download call letter. They have to visit bseodsha.nic.in to get the OTET admit card download link. After clicking on the link, a login page appears on the screen where candidates have to enter the login credentials. On submitting correct login details, the OTET 2021 admit card appears on the screen. Tap on the download button to get the OTET hall ticket.
With the hall ticket, candidates can check the exam centre and the reporting time for the OTET exam. Also, some important exam related instructions and COVID-19 advisory is published via admit card. So, read these instructions carefully before appearing for the exam. They can also verify the details that are printed on the call letter. In case of any discrepancy, aspirants must conduct the conducting body.
Furthermore, candidates have to carry a clear print out of the OTET admit card to the exam centre. Invigilator’s present at the exam centre will verify admit card and thereafter aspirants can enter the exam centre. Along with the admit card, aspirant’s have to carry valid photo ID proof. They can carry Aadhar card, Pan Card, Passport, Voter ID card or any other ID card for verification.
Moreover, the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) is a state-level examination that is conducted to the eligibility of candidates for teachers’ post. On qualifying the OTET exam, candidates can participate in the recruitment in government, private aided, and private unaided schools of Odisha. Aspirants must note that the OTET exam is conducted to find one’s eligibility for the post of a teacher. It does not offer any employment on qualifying.
The OTET examination is an offline exam. There will be 150 questions carrying 150 marks. Also, there is no negative marking for the incorrect answers. The questions that are asked in the OTET exam are asked from Child development and pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Social Science.
