Dr B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) recently announced the postponement of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Special Education Entrance Test 2020. In the beginning, the examination was to be conducted on March 28, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. However, the examination has been postponed to a later date and the new examination date shall be informed accordingly. University authorities have also extended the deadline to register for the examination. Hence, candidates can register for the exam on the official website braouonline.in till April 25, 2021.
BRAOU authorities announced the postponement of B.Ed (SE) entrance test 2020 to a later date on their official website braouonline.in. However, they did not cite any specific reason to postpone the exam. Previously, the last date to pay the application fee and submit the application form was April 15, 2021. However, that deadline has also been extended to April 25, 2021. Candidates who qualify for the entrance exam can seek admission for the B.Ed course at the prestigious institution.
To apply for the exam, candidates must click on the B.Ed (SE) Entrance Test 2020 registration link on the homepage of the official website. Thereafter, they must click on the “Apply Online” option and fill in the required credentials. These credentials include the candidate’s name and father’s name and, select the program. After doing so, they must click on the “submit” option to access the application form.
B.Ed (SE) 2020 application form contains various details which the candidate must fill. These details include personal information, address information, religion, social status, educational qualifications, exam centre, etc. Candidates must also upload their signature and photograph in the space provided. Lastly, they must enter the security code displayed in the application form before submitting the application form.
BRAOU has also specified the application fee to be paid at the time of registration for the entrance exam. According to the prospectus, candidates have to pay Rs.635 as an application fee through TS or AP Online franchise centre. On the other hand, they have to pay Rs.600 in case they are using their Credit Card or Debit Card.
After paying the application fee, candidates must keep a printed copy of the application form and fee receipt for future reference. Candidates have to complete all these formalities on or before April 25, 2021.
BRAOU B.Ed Test 2021 entrance test shall comprise 100 objective-type questions for a total of 100 marks. These 100 questions shall be divided into two sections – Part A and Part B. Part A shall contain questions related to General English Comprehension of 40 marks. Part B shall comprise of questions related to General Mental Ability of 60 marks. The examination shall be conducted from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on the new allotted date. However, the timings may change as per the university’s discretion.
