In the recent notification, Bihar Public Service Commission had announced the recruitment process for Head of Department, Automobile Engineering Departments. As per the notification, BPSC has released 02 vacancies for the HOD post. The online registrations for BPSC HOD recruitment start from September 04, 2020, onwards. Eligible candidates can submit the online application form before the last date October 05, 2020.
Out of the 02 vacancies, 01 is for unreserved category and 01 for Other Backward Class. Candidates who qualify all the stages of the selection procedure are recruited in Govt. Polytechnic/ Govt. Women Polytechnic Institutes under Science & Technology Dept., Govt. of Bihar. The newly recruited Head of Department gets Rs. 1,31,400/- as starting salary.
Candidates must fulfil the specified eligibility criteria before applying for the aforementioned posts. To apply for Head of Department Automobile department, candidates must possess a PhD in Automobile Engineering/Technology and first class in Bachelor and Master degree in Automobile Engineering/Technology. They must have a minimum of 12 years of work experience in Teaching/ Research/ Industry. Out of these 12 years, at least 02 years shall be served after PhD degree at Lecturer post. Candidates who have 15 years of work experience should have at least 03 years post qualification work experience.
To apply online, candidates must visit the official website of BPSC, bpsc.bih.nic.in. On reaching the website, they have to click on the apply online tab to get the BPSC Online application link. Click on the apply online button against the HOD Automobile departments recruitment to start the registration process. Provide a working and valid email id and mobile number to get the upcoming updates on this recruitment. After successful registration, fill the application form and take a clear print out of the same.
The hard copy of the application form should be sent to “Joint Secretary Exam Controller, Bihar Public Service Commission, 15, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg (Beli Road), Patna 800001”. The last date to submit application form and documents through speed post is October 12, 2020. In addition, candidates have to attach the following documents with the form – 10th mark sheet, degree mark sheet and certificate, PhD certificate, postgraduate degree and certificate, Domicile certificate, OBC/ EWS certificate, disability certificate, SC/ST certificate, and other relevant documents.
Candidates have to appear for three stages for the final selection. The first stage of the verification of academic background which is conducted for 20 marks. Second stage of the evaluation of academic performance, research performance, and teaching skills. Those who qualify both of these rounds can appear for the interview.
