Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) on Wednesday postponed the Common Entrance Test 2021 for B.Ed admissions in the state. CET-B.Ed- 2021 was to be held on July 11, 2021 (Sunday). The decision to postpone the B.Ed CET is taken amid speculations of the release of admit cards, as admit cards were proposed to be issued by 1st July. With the official notice, the admit cards are further delayed to an unknown dates.
The decision of postponing the Bihar Common Entrance Test for Bachelor of Education (CET B.Ed) 2021 came for the second time after the exam was earlier deferred due to the COVID-19 concerns in the month of April.
“Due to the unavoidable circumstances, the CET B.Ed 2021 which is scheduled on 11 July 2021 (Sunday), stands postponed. A detailed schedule and new CET BEd exam date will be notified in due course of time,” reads the official notice.

The state-level entrance test facilitates admissions into two-year B.Ed and B.Ed (Distance) courses across the participating Bihar state Education Universities/Colleges. The nodal university conducts CET B.Ed for the students who register for the B.Ed admissions and following merit and reservation policies conducts seat allotment rounds for admissions.

As per the reports, the new date of the Common Entrance Test for B.Ed shall be issued shortly on the official portal – bihar-cetbed-lnmu.in. The examination will be held once the situation becomes more feasible in the state and the University gets approval from the Pariksha Bhavan. B.Ed CET 2021 admit cards will be released for the candidates found successfully registered/paid application fee, likely 10 days ahead of the examination.
