Bharat Electronics Limited has issued a latest recruitment notification at the official website bel-india.in. The notification is for the recruitment of 26 Project Engineers on a contractual basis. The vacancies for the post of Project Engineer-I are available across multiple disciplines. There are 22 openings available in the discipline of Electronics, 02 in Mechanical and 02 in the discipline of Computer Science. All of the vacancies are available on a contractual basis in the Hyderabad Unit of BEL India.

Selected candidates are to be appointed for an initial period of 02 years. The tenure of employment can be extended to a maximum of four years in total. Such an extension is based on the requirement of the project and the performance of the incumbents in the given job role. Candidates are to be paid a fixed monthly salary of Rs 35000, Rs 40000, Rs 45000 and Rs 50000 during the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year respectively. A fixed amount of Rs 10000 is also to be paid in two instalments to the candidates after joining.
Applicants are required to have at least 2 years of post qualification experience to be eligible to apply for this recruitment. In addition, the maximum permissible age of the applicants as on February 01, 2021 is 28 years. However, relaxations on the upper age limit are applicable for candidates belonging to special reserved categories as per government norms in vogue.
All applicants are required to have obtained a BE/B.Tech or B.Sc Engineering degree in the corresponding discipline in order to apply for this recruitment. For General, OBC and EWS candidates, the degree must be first class while for SC/ST and PWD candidates, the degree may be Pass class.
