Maharshi Valmiki College of Education has published notification for recruitment to the post of the assistant professor. Applications are invited in online mode to fill 6 vacancies of assistant professor in education. The last date to submit the application form is December 9, 2019. 

As per the reservation criteria, there are reservations scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST) and other backward classes (OBC). Of the total vacancies, 4 seats are for UR, 1 for ST and 1 for OBC.

MVCE requires that to be eligible for the post of the assistant professor in education, one needs to have a master’s degree with at least 55% passing marks in the concerned subject. The degree can be obtained either from an Indian University or from an accredited foreign university. Along with this a perspectives in education or foundation courses and an MEd degree holder with 55% marks is also an essentail criteria.

Details regarding the eligibility, educational qualification, salary, selection guidelines, interview criteria and other important details regarding the recruitment are published on the official website of the college, available on mvce.ac.in. One must check the advertisement with Advt. No. MVCE/Advt. /Teaching/ 01/ 2019 before proceeding for filling the application form. 

It must be cleared that however the recruitment is announced by the Maharshi Valmiki college of education but registration will be done on the common portal for all universities recruitment. This is a college recruitment portal in which one can fill the application form of all recruitment announced by the universities under the Delhi university. 

There are two websites involve in the recruitment process for the assistant professor job. One is the university website which is mvce.ac.in and another is the common portal website which is colrec.du.ac.in. In the former website, one can find a detailed advertisement notification while on the latter the eligible candidates will be able to apply for the post. 

For applying online, applicants have to visit the college recruitment portal, colrec.du.ac.in and apply for the post. Candidates can do the registration using their active mail id, mobile number and password. After the registration, login again using the registered email id and password to fill a detailed application form. 

The application fee for MVCE DU assistant professor recruitment 2019 is Rs. 500. The fee has to be paid online using different payment option like a credit card, debit card and net banking. The fee has to be paid by the candidates of UR, OBC and EWS category. SC, ST and PwBD category and women candidates are exempted for paying the fee. 

MVCE will shortlist the applications of the candidates to call them for the interview as per the selection guidelines. According to the recruitment guidelines candidates called for the interview has to carry one valid photo ID with them. Moreover, candidates working in a government or PSU have to submit a No Objection Certificate at the time of interview.

The MVCE recruitment 2019 notification mentions that all the information from the college including the admit card or the call letter for the interview will be sent on the registered email id mentioned in the application form. Candidates should check the official website and their email ids from time to time for updates.
