APPSC has notified 13 vacancies for the post of Sub-Inspector in Telecommunication and Radio Technician department. The candidates selected as Sub – Inspector will be placed in the Group B Non-Gazetted in Civil Police under the Department of Home, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh. Interested applicants have to register to submit the APPSC Sub-Inspector 2021 application form on apppsc.gov.in via online mode. The last date to apply for the APPSC Sub-Inspector is March 15, 2021. The appointed candidates will be paid according to Pay Matrix Level 6 (35,400 – 112400) and other allowances.
The APPSC application process will be completely online and the candidates have to register themselves using the One Time Registration option. Candidate has to enter the basic personal details i.e. name, date of birth, academic qualification etc to register successfully. They are also supposed to upload their recent scanned coloured photograph, scanned signature etc. However, if the applicant has submitted multiple application forms, the form that is submitted with high RID is considered by the commission. At last, the students who are in the final year of their qualifying academic degree have to upload a Bonafide Certificate to prove their claim.

APPSC has also rolled out a set of eligibility criteria for the candidates who wish to apply for the post of Sub Inspector. According to the official notification, the age of the candidates must be in the range of 21-26 years as on March 15, 2021. Since, both the posts are technical in nature thus, the candidates need to have completed B. Tech or B.E. in Electronics and Communications. Applicants who have completed Bachelor of Science with either Physics/Chemistry or Mathematics as major subjects are also eligible to apply.
Since this notification is for the post of Sub Inspector, aspirants also have to qualify the Physical standards. For the male candidates, the height is 160-165 cm while for the female candidates the height is fixed at 152-157 cm. The Chest measurements are inapplicable for Female candidates, the male candidates need to have 79 cms of unexpanded chest whole 84 cm of the expanded chest. The distance vision for both the gender is fixed at -6/12.
The selection process for the APPSC Sub-Inspector includes a Physical Efficiency Test, written test and Interview. In the physical efficiency test, the candidates have to complete a race of 100 meters in 16 sec and 19 sec for male and female respectively. While 1500 m running has to be completed in 8 minutes for male candidates. The female candidates have to complete the race of 800m in 5 minutes. This will be followed by a long jump and a high jump. The candidates have to appear for a written test and an interview. The candidates have to score at least 33% in each paper and 45% overall to qualify the written test.
