Army Recruiting Office, Jhunjhunu Rajasthan is inviting eligible candidates from the districts of Jhunjhunu, Churu, Sri Ganganagar, Bikaner, & Hanumangarh to apply online for Soldier recruitment rally. An official notice of recruitment is published in this regard at the official website of the Indian Army i.e. joinindianarmy.nic.in. Eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment at the aforementioned website starting from August 08, 2020 to September 22, 2020. The rally is scheduled to be held during the period from October 07, 2020 to March 31, 2020. The exact dates, location, and venue of the rally is to be announced in due course of time. Eligible applicants are to be issued admit cards through registered email ID, 15 days before the rally dates.
As per the notice, the recruitment rally is for filling up posts of Soldier Nursing Assistant (Army Medical Corps) and NA (Vet) in RVC, Soldier Clerk/Storekeeper Technical/Inventory Management, and Soldier D Pharma. Candidates must be at least 17.5 years old in order to apply for the recruitment. The maximum permissible age limit is 23 years (25 years for Soldier D Pharma). Candidates having passed Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany/Zoology and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject are eligible to apply for the post of Soldier Nursing Assistant. Those who have passed Class 12th in any stream with 60% aggregate marks and 50% marks in each subject can apply for the post of Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical/Inventory Management. Those who have passed Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and have a D. Pharma qualification with 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for the post of Soldier D Pharma. In addition, the minimum height of the applicants must be 170 cm (162 cm for Soldier Clerk) and the minimum weight must be 50 kg. Applicants must have 77 cm chest measurement along with 5 cm expansion capacity.
Admit cards are to be issued through the registered email to the eligible applicants. The admit cards contain the details of the date, location and venue of the rally. Candidates taking part in the rally have to pass the qualifying physical fitness tests i.e. 1.6 km run, Beam (Pull-ups), 9 Feet Ditch and Zig-Zag Balance. A physical measurement will also be carried out at the rally site to ensure that the candidates meet the minimum physical standards as specified above. Finally, a medical test is carried out. Candidates who are not declared fit in the Medical tests have to present themselves for specialist review within 14 days and report back to the ARO for issuance of the admit card for the written exam. Candidates who are declared fit at the rally site are issued the admit cards for the written exam at the site.
Eligible candidates appearing for the rally are advised to carry the admit cards along with 20 copies of recent coloured and unattested passport sized photographs. In addition, all educational documents, domicile certificates, caste/category certificate, character certificates, NCC/sports certificates and other testimonials mentioned in the recruitment notice must also be carried in originals. Candidates must note that it is mandatory to register online for the rally at the specified website.
