Indian Army is conducting an Army Recruitment Rally through ARO, Jamnagar. Candidates from Jamnagar, Rajkot, Porbandar, Amreli, Gir Somnath, Bhavnagar, Junagarh, Surendranagar, Kutch, Batod, Morbi, Devbhumi Dwarka & Diu (UT) are eligible to apply. Applications from only male candidates are invited for this recruitment. The recruitment rally is expected to be conducted from October 10, 2020, to October 19, 2020. The recruitment rally is conducted for Soldier General Duty, Soldier Tradesman (10th Pass), Soldier Tradesman (08th Pass), Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant Veterinary, Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical/ Inventory Management. Those who satisfy the eligibility norms for the announced posts can submit their forms through joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidate can apply for only one category.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Science stream are eligible to apply for Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant Veterinary and Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical/ Inventory Management. Those who have passed 10th standard are eligible to represent their candidature against Soldier General Duty and Soldier Tradesman (10th Pass). To apply for Soldier Tradesman (08th Pass), candidates must have passed 08th standard. Candidates must be within the age limit of 17.5 years to 21 years for Soldier General Duty and 17.5 years to 23 years for the rest posts.
As the recruitment is for the Indian Army, there is a certain physical standard that candidates shall comply to. The minimum height requirement for Soldier General Duty, Soldier Tradesman (10th Pass), Soldier Tradesman (08th Pass), is 168 cm, for Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant Veterinary is 167 cm and for Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical/ Inventory Management is 162 cm. Aspirants who are able to satisfy all the physical and medical requirements are invited for CCE round. The Common Entrance Examination (CCE) is conducted for those who are found medically fit. CCE is expected to be conducted in the month of December 2020. The date and time for CCE are intimated to them at rally site along with the admit cards.
Aspirants are required to carry their admit card, photograph, education certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, religion certificate, school character certificate, unmarried certificate, relationship certification from respective Record Office, NCC certificate, sports certificate, affidavit, single bank A/C, PAN Card, Aadhar card, Police character certificate and sarpanch/Nagar Sewak residence proof. After the provisional selection, candidates have to undergo a training based on which they are awarded Rahdari certificate and their appointment is concluded.
