The Army Recruiting Office, Srinagar has released a notification for the Army Recruitment Rally in different categories. The online application date for the same is now available at joinindianarmy.nic.in. The last date to submit applications is May 1, 2021. The candidates who have registered themselves earlier will be required to re-register themselves for the Rally. Admit Card for participation will be sent via email from May 2, 2021, to May 15, 2021. The Army Recruitment Rally will commence on May 17, 2021, and end on May 28, 2021.
Although the notification has been released for different categories, the age limit for all the categories is 17 1/2 years to 23 years except Soldier General Duty for which is age limit is 17 1/2 years to 21 years. The candidates applying for the post of Soldier (General Duty) are required to pass Class 10th with at least 45% marks overall while 33% in each subject asked in the exam. While the candidates applying for the category of Soldier (Technical), Soldier Nursing Assistant and Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical need to have passed class 10+ 2 or equivalent exam in Science with PCM and English with at least 50% marks overall and 40% marks in each subject. Additionally, the candidates applying for the post of Soldier Tradesmen (10th Pass) and Soldier Tradesmen (8th Pass) need to clear Class 10th and Class 8th final exam respectively with at least 33% marks in aggregate.

Apart from the basic eligibility, the candidates are also required to fulfil the Physical Standard as stated for their posts. The candidates applying for the post of Soldier (General Duty), Soldier (Technical), Soldier Nursing Assistant and Soldier Tradesmen (10th Pass) and Soldier Tradesmen (8th Pass) are required to possess a minimum height of 163 cm with a minimum weight of 47.8 KG and chest size of 77cm. While the candidates applying for the post of Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical are required to possess a minimum height of 162 cm, weight 47.2 Kg and Chest Size of 77 cm.
The Selection Process for the eligible candidates in the Indian Army Recruitment Rally will be based on three stages i.e. Physical Fitness Test, a Physical Standard test, followed by a Medical Test and a Common Entrance Exam. The candidates who successfully clear all the rounds will be inducted into the Army for the position they have applied for. In the Physical Fitness round, the candidates will be required to complete Running, Pull-Ups,9 ft Ditch and Zigzag balance within the stipulated time. Once the candidates complete the fitness test, medical test etc they will be issued a fresh admit card to appear for the CEE(Common Entrance Exam). The candidates who find a place in the cut off list of CEE will be considered successful.
