Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT) is has extended the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021 registration deadline to April 15, 2021. However, candidates will have to pay Rs.100 as a fine along with the registration fee. CAT 2021 is going to be held through the computer-based mode on June 12, 13 and 14, 2021. This registration process shall be applicable for all undergraduate and postgraduate courses except PhD, MBA, M.Tech and diploma courses.
CUSAT authorities recently announced the extension of the deadline to register for the CAT 2021 examination. According to their announcement, the last date to register for the exam has been extended to April 15, 2021. However, candidates are required to pay a fine of Rs. 100 along with the registration fee. CAT 2021 registration began on March 10, 2021, and the last date to register without late fee charges was March 31, 2021.
Authorities have also extended the deadline to pay the application fee. Candidates are given an extra day to pay the application fee and thus, the deadline has been extended to April 16, 2021. Candidates have to submit the application form and pay the respective application fee only through the online mode. CUSAT has also clarified that no changes have been introduced in the pre-published registration deadline for M.Tech, MBA and PhD programmes. The schedule shall remain as before.
CAT 2021 is scheduled to take place as the computer-based test on June 12, 13 and 14, 2021. Admit cards for the same shall be available for download from May 25, 2021. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website admissions.cusat.ac.in.
CUSAT has also specified the separate registration timelines for each postgraduate course offered by the concerned university. The online registration process for international candidates began on March 10, 2021, and the last date to register for the exam is April 30, 2021. Similarly, the registration process for MBA programmes began on March 10, 2021. Candidates have been given time up to May 31, 2021, to register for the PG programme.
Candidates interested in applying for the M.Tech programmes at Cochin university can do so on the official website till April 30, 2021. However, they are required to pay late fee charges if they register for the exam beyond April 21, 2021.
CUSAT authorities have also specified the timeline for issuing and submitting the applications for Ph.D programmes. The timeline to do so is from March 10, 2021 to April 15, 2021. Candidates have to fulfil the formalities by contacting the departments or schools concerned. CAT 2021 registration began in March 2021 and the last date to register for CAT 2021 PG and UG programmes has been extended to April 15, 2021. Again, the same is not applicable for Ph.D and diploma courses.
