NEET 2021 Expected Cut Off

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is expected to release the notification for Group 2 recruitment examination soon. But, so far, no official announcement regarding the release date has been updated by the commission. However, once the official notification is released, it will be available on psc.ap.gov.in.

As per the sources, this upcoming recruitment notification will be released for 337 vacancies. The notification was supposed to be out on August 27, 2021. However, that hasn’t been the case. It is been unofficially reported that the APPSC Group 2 prelims examination is scheduled to be held in November 2021 and the mains in January 2022. Moreover, the source also mentions that the maximum number of vacancies (150) is reserved for the post of Assistant Section Officer under the General Administrative Department of the AP Secretariat.

According to another unofficial source, the same number of vacancies is going to be announced for the APPSC Group 2 notification. However, it states that the notification will be announced in February 2022. Likewise, the admit cards for the exam will tentatively be available in April 2022.

In terms of eligibility criteria, both these sources have mentioned that the minimum age for applying is 18 years while the maximum age is 42 years. Candidates must at least have a bachelor’s degree for applying to APPSC Group 2 recruitment. A candidate’s selection will be based on the performance in the three stages of examination namely prelims, mains and the interview rounds. However, they must qualify for the written examination (prelims and mains) to be eligible for the further selection process.

In 2020, the prelims exam covered 150 questions covering topics like General Studies and Mental Ability, Social and Cultural History of Andhra Pradesh along with planning and economy. Each question carried 01 marks. Similarly, the APPSC 2020 mains paper covered 450 marks with 150 marks each devoted for the same topics as in the prelims. The practical test covered five parts in which the candidates had to showcase their MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and E-mail skills.

Please note that all this information are based on unofficial sources and previous year data. Candidates are requested to wait for the official notification once it is out. Recently, the AP Finance Department has asked APPSC to issue notification for filling up 1,180 posts. These vacancies cover various posts like medical officers, lecturers in the Ayush department, assistant engineers, grade III executive officers, English reporters, junior lecturers, etc. A final and official notification is yet to be out.
