State Board of Technical Education and Training is all set to announce the results today, September 11, 2021, for the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) 2021 examination. Candidates who appear for the exam held on September 01, 2021, can download their rank cards from the official website polycetap.nic.in. Apart from this, results will also be published on the website sbtetap.gov.in.

According to the information brochure, results are going to be announced today. But the brochure also specified that this is a tentative date and authorities have not provided any confirmation on the same. However, popular news portals like Hindustan Times have published reports suggesting that results are going to come out anytime soon. If this is true, candidates’ wait for results will soon be over. One thing is for sure – results will be out within 15 days of the conduction of the exam i.e., latest by September 16, 2021.

Once announced, candidates can check their AP POLYCET 2021 results using the steps given below –

Step 1: Visit the official website of AP POLYCET 2021 i.e., polycetap.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage of the website, click on the result download link.

Step 3: Enter the required login credentials. These credentials may include Registration Number, Class 10 hall ticket number, Class 10 year of passing, mobile number, or date of birth, etc.

Step 4: Submit the credentials to access the rank card. Take a printout and keep the hardcopy of the results for future use or reference.

To qualify the AP POLYCET 2021 examination, candidates will have to score a minimum of 25% marks in the entrance exam i.e., 30 marks out of 120. However, those belonging to SC, ST categories will be assigned ranks irrespective of their marks. They will also be eligible to compete for their category seats during the counselling process.

The state education board will be assigning a rank to each candidate based on his/her marks in the AP POLYCET 2021 exam. So, there is bound to be a tie between two or more candidates with respect to marks scored. To break the tie, marks in Mathematics will be considered first. If the tie still persists, candidates scoring better in Physics will be given a higher rank. Finally, date of birth will be considered for the ranking process i.e., older candidate will be awarded a higher rank.

After the declaration of AP POLYCET 2021 results, authorities will provide a detailed schedule of the admission program. This schedule will be published on the official portal as well as popular newspapers. Hence, candidates are advised to visit the official website and reliable news portals for latest developments and announcements.
