State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh (APSLPRB) has announced the exam date for the post of the Assistant Public Prosecutor post as advertised under the recruitment notice Rc. No.40l R&T/ Rect.1 /2019.
The date has been announced on the official website for the written examination consisting of 2 papers. The test is scheduled to be held on Sunday, November 17, 2019. The paper will be held in two sessions one in the morning and other in the afternoon. With the exam date announced, the hall ticket is expected soon.
Prior to the announcement of the official exam date, a large number of applicants had requested the board for the extension of the date for the preparation and to also implement the EWS reservation. In response to this, the request was heard and simultaneously rejected. The board says there were 45 days of gap between a the notice and the exam date which is enough to prepare for the examination. However, the decision regarding the EWS policy is still awaited.
The written examination contains two papers and both the paper is for a duration of 3 hours. The language in which the paper is set is English only. The timings for paper 1 is 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and paper 2 will then commence from 2:30 PM till 5:30 PM on the same day. Both the paper carries equal marks which are 200.
As per the notice paper 1 will be objective in nature and paper 2 will be descriptive in nature. Candidates have to fill their OMR sheet using black/blue ballpoint pen only for paper 1. For paper 2 they have to write the answer using blue/black pen in the question-cum-answer booklet which will be supplied by SLPRB.
Candidates can download their hall ticket for the main examination from the official website of the board which is slprb.ap.gov.in.
The minimum qualifying marks set by the board to clear the main examination is 40% for other candidates, 35% for backward class candidates and for teh candidates of SC/ST/Ex-servicemen it is 30% of the marks in each paper.
AP Police Assistant Public Prosecutor recruitment 2019 is being organized to fill a total of 50 vacancies. There are 47 vacancies through direct recruitment, and 3 through limited recruitment. Zone wise vacancies stand are: Vishakhapatnam range – 9, Eluru range – 10, Guntur range – 14, Kurnool range – 17.
