The Andhra Pradesh Model School Society is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruiting 211 Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) and 71 Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs).
AP Model Schools Recruitment 2022 Notification

Eligible candidates along with those who have worked as guest faculty in the AP Model Schools can submit their online applications via cse.ap.gov.in. The application process has already commenced yesterday and will continue till January 07, 2022.
Eligibility
The applying candidate must have a maximum age limit of 44 years and should not be less than 18 years as on the notification issuance date. While SC, ST, BC and EWS category students will get a maximum age limit of 49 years, the Physically Challenged candidates will be getting the same as 54 years.
For applying to the post of PGT, the candidate must have a Master’s degree from a UGC-recognized university with an aggregate of 50% marks. Alternatively, the candidate must have done a two-year integrated PG course from the Regional Institute of Education of NCERT. Other than that, they must have a B.Ed. recognized NCTE or an equivalent degree.
Coming to TGT, the applying candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks along with B.Ed. In lieu of this, they can also have a four-year integrated degree course from the Regional Institute of Education of NCERT with a minimum of 50% marks.
Selection Procedure
Candidates for the AP Model Schools recruitment 2022 will be selected as per the percentage of marks obtained in the required degree.
- For PGT, the marks will be calculated as per the concerned PG subject and the total marks in B.Ed. Methodology.
- Even for TGT, the marks will be calculated as per the total percentage of marks in the Bachelor’s degree and the total marks in B.Ed. Methodology.
- Those candidates who have previously served as guest faculties are going to be assigned a rank that is prior to the non-guest faculty.
Post Selection Procedure
The concerned RJDSEs will first verify the original documents of the selected candidates who will fulfill the eligibility conditions as mentioned in the notification. Candidates are likely to get the notification from any social media site. After successful verification, the RJDSEs will issue orders of engaging the selected candidates from the Zonal list. The PGT posts carry the MTS pay scale of Rs 31,460 each month, while that for TGT is Rs 28,940 per month.
