Aligarh Muslim University has released an advertisement inviting application from eligible candidates for the post of GIS/ GPS Surveyor, Accountant Cum Clerk, Computer Analyst/ Operator/ Data Uploader, Computer Typist and Intern. As per the notice, a total of 26 vacancies are announce for this recruitment. Applications for the aforementioned posts should be submitted on or before the last date i.e August 31, 2020. Out of the total 26 vacancies, 10 are announced for GIS/ GPS Surveyor, 08 vacancies are for Intern, 02 vacancies for Accountant Cum Clerk, 04 vacancies for Computer Analyst/ Operator, Data Uploader and 02 vacancies are for Computer Typist. The advertised posts are announced for a project on GIS/ GPS mapping work of Waqf Properties. This project is led by “Qaumi Waqf Board Traqqiati Scheme” by Tamil Nadu Waqf Board, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India. On the appointment, project staff received monthly remuneration/ honorarium based on funding agency in Tamil Nadu Waqf Board.
Candidates with MA/ M. Sc in Geography/ Remote Sensing and GIS/ BS/ B. Tech/ Diploma Engineering/ BCA can apply for GIS/ GPS Surveyor. Those who have graduation degree (preferable B. Com, BBA)/ M. Com/ MBA/ and experience in account work are eligible for Accountant Cum clerk post. To apply for Computer Analyst post candidates must have M. Com/ B. Tech/ BCA/ PG in Geography/ MCA/ M. Phil in Geography/ PhD in Geography. Preference will be given to those candidates who know data handling, data entry and coding. Aspirants intending to apply for Computer typist must have BA/ B. Sc/ B. Com/ BCA/ BBA/ Diploma in Engineering. Student of B. Tech/ BS/ BCA/ MCA/ B. Sc/ M. Sc can apply for Intern vacancies.
Applications are invited only through the offline procedure. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can download the form from amu.ac.in. In the application form, they have to mention the name, address for correspondence, contact details such as the mobile number and email id, educational qualification, work experience (if applicable) and closures. A recent passport size photograph duly signed by the candidates should be attached with the application form.
The filled in AMU application form should be submitted to the Department of Geography, AMU, Aligarh Dr Rashid Aziz Faridi or Dr Mashkoor Ahmad. Application form should be attached with the complete biodata, self attested copies of the relevant documents such as the mark sheets/ certificate/ degree, etc.
Based on the documents submitted, candidates are shortlisted for the interview. The schedule for the interview is not yet out.
