National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development is inviting eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Manager under NABFOUNDATION, Mumbai. NABARD has published an official notification in this regard on the official website, nabard.org. As per the official notification, there is only one vacant post for the prior mentioned post. The last date to submit the application form is September 07, 2020.
The recruitment to the aforementioned posts is on contractual basis. Candidates are recruited as Assistant Manager – Development projects for a period of 03 years. Their service period is extendable by 02 years determined by their outstanding performance. A monthly salary of Rs. 80,000/- to Rs. 1,00,00/- is provided to the newly appointed Assistant Manager. The appointment is subject to the half-yearly review. Based on the poor performance the contract may get terminated by giving to months notice.
Candidates who have passed masters degree in Social work (MSW)/MA in Development Studies/Rural Development from a recognized university are eligible to apply for Assistant Manager post. Moreover, they must possess a minimum of 05 years of work experience in project formulation in the social sector. They must have a keen knowledge about the development sectors such as farm marketing, rural livelihood, rural education, rural health, skilling, climate proofing of Indian agriculture, etc. Must be familiar with the data base management systems, have the ability to project specific MIS statements.
Aspirants must be proficient with some basic computer tools such as MS Office (specifically in Excel), strong writing skills. Also, NABARD has prescribed the age limit of applicants to apply for this recruitment. Their age should be between the age range of 30 years to 50 years as on the date of advertisement.

Candidates who are selected under the post of Assistant Manager under this foundation have to perform duties such as formulation of the development projects, developing database, help in forming the framework of NABFOUNDATION, coordinate with the Agri startups, Agri universities, CSR units and others. They also have to help the HR officer in sourcing appropriate staff at field level and others.
