All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has published the notification for B.Sc Nursing admissions 2020. The institute is offering 3 courses B.Sc (H) Nursing, N.Sc Nursing (Post Basic), and B.Sc (Paramedical).
Prospective candidates for AIIMS B.Sc Nursing 2020 admissions can avail the online registration at aiimsexams.org from tomorrow, December 12, 2019. It may be noted that to apply for admission, for which is to be an entrance exam, online application form submission comprises of two things. One is to do the basic registration and generation of code, and the second is to do the final registration.
Basic registration that goes by the name of PAAR for all the 3 courses will start tomorrow and end on January 16, 2020 at 5 pm. Status update on the basis registration will be available on January 20, 2020. Correction of deficiencies in basic registration wherever they have not been accepted can be done from January 21 to 30, 2020.
AIIMS will announce the final status, accepted and rejected, of basic registration for B.Sc nursing, B.Sc nursing post basic, and B.Sc paramedical courses will be announced on February 4, 2020.
After that, the prospectus cum information brochure will be available for download from aiimsexams.org from March 12, 2020.
Then two events will take place from March 14 to April 15, 2020, 5 pm. One is the generation of code for final registration. And the second is final registration that is payment of fees and city choice. Only those who get the code will be able to do final registration.
For B.Sc Nursing applicants, the final status of accepted rejected with reasons will be out on April 22, 2020. And that for B.Sc Nursing post basic, and B.Sc paramedical courses it will be declared on April 24, 2020.
The last date to submit documents for all three programs, for regularization of rejected applicants is May 4, 2020.
AIIMS will release the admit card for B.Sc Nursing entrance exam on May 13, 2020. And that for B.Sc Nursing post basic, B.Sc paramedical on May 15, 2020.
The exam date of AIIMS B.Sc Nursing Post Basic entrance exam 2020 is June 6, 2020, and timings will be 10 am to 11:30 am.
Then the exam date of AIIMS B.Sc Paramedical entrance exam 2020 is June 20, 2020, and timings will be 10 am to 11:30 am.
And finally the exam date of AIIMS B.Sc Nursing entrance exam 2020 is June 28, 2020, and timings will be 10 am to 12 noon.
Students who have completed, or will be completing their class 12th studies with english, physics, chemistry, biology wherein general, EWS, OBC candidates have at least 55% marks in aggregate and SC, ST have at least 45% will be eligible for B.Sc Nursing admissions.
Those who complete 10+2 with english, physics, chemistry, and either biology or mathematics with 50% for general, EWS, OBC, abd 45% for SC, ST can apply for B.Sc Paramedical.
Candidates with a 12th pass qualification, as well as those with diploma in general nursing and midwifery, or registered as nurse, RN, RM can apply for B.Sc Nursing Post Basic course.
AIIMS also says, “all applicant who have applied earlier and whose Basic Registration have been accepted for 2019 Session are also eligible for Generation of code for Final Registration and they do not require to fill the Basic Registration again. All applicants are required to visit the website regularly since all subsequent Corrigendum/Addendum/Updates will only be uploaded on the website.”
