Bar Council of India (BCI) released two notifications regarding the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 2021 on March 22, 2021. These notifications were released on the official website allindiabarexamination.com. According to the notifications, AIBE 15 results shall be uploaded in the fourth week of March 2021 i.e., this week. Moreover, the deadlines for registration of AIBE 16 as well as payment for the examination have been extended. The last date to register for AIBE-16 is March 31, 2021, whereas the last date to pay the fee is April 02, 2021.
BCI authorities conducted the AIBE 15 2021 examination on January 24, 2021. Answer key for the same was released on the official website allindiabarexamination.com on January 30, 2021. Previously, authorities were going to release the AIBE 15 results in the third week of March 2021. However, BCI released a notification on March 22, 2021, stating that the exam results shall be released in the fourth week of March 2021.
Candidates can check their AIBE 15 2021 results on the official website by clicking on the ‘Results AIBE 15’ tab on the left panel of the homepage. By doing so, a new page shall open in which candidates must enter their login credentials. By submitting the credentials like registration number and date of birth, the results shall be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the results for future reference.
BCI also released a notification on March 22, 2021, announcing that the registration deadline for AIBE 16 2021 has been extended to March 31, 2021. The registration process earlier began on December 26, 2020, and the deadline has been postponed twice to give more time to candidates to submit the application form.
Authorities have also extended the deadline for paying the application fee to April 02, 2021. The schedule also states that the last date for completing the online form is April 05, 2021. Authorities shall release the AIBE-16 2021 admit cards on April 10, 2021, on the official website. The exam has now been scheduled for April 25, 2021. BCI has also informed that they are liable to extend the examination date under unforeseen circumstances. However, in any case, authorities shall not be entertaining any refund requests or adjustments.
AIBE 2021 shall be conducted in 48 cities across the country. Candidates shall also be given the choice to choose from 11 languages to appear for the AIBE 2021 examination. The examination shall comprise of objective-type questions.
BCI conducts the AIBE examination twice every year. Lawyers who have completed their LLB course are eligible to appear for the national-level examination. Candidates who qualify the AIBE examination shall be awarded the ‘Certificate of Practice’ by authorities.
