Indian Air Force has announced date of AFCAT 01/2018 supplementary exam. it will be held on 24 and 25 March 2018. Candidates of those centres, where any or both shifts of AFCAT and/or EKT paper was cancelled on 25 February 2018, can attend supplementary exam. Also those who were individually affected because of technical issues at exam centres can also appear in supplementary exam. Candidates are requested to note that only their marks of supplementary exam will be counted for final result of AFCAT 2018.
Exam centres for 24 and 25 March AFCAT exams are conveyed through new admit cards. Candidates can now download AFCAT 2018 Admit Card at candidate login. New exam centres and timings will both be printed in it, and they cannot be changed. IAF has made it clear that requests for change in centres are not being entertained. One must report to centre at 8 AM sharp as after that they will undergo verification process including biometrics, admit card, ID proof, photograph. Notice accompanying AFCAT 2018 supplementary exam announcement says “Late reporting, only under exceptional circumstances beyond a candidate’s control, may be permitted, but not after 08:30 AM.” Those who will attend only EKT need to report at 10:30 AM.

IAF has issued AFCAT 2018 admit card on March 15. Candidates need to visit afcat.cdac.in and go to candidate login.
Admit card is also mailed to registered email ID.

If during exam, there were any concerns, they can be conveyed to AFCAT within 48 hours of completion of exam.
Things to bring to exam centre for AFCAT 2018 supplementary exam
- AFCAT 01/2018 Admit Card
- Aadhaar card
- One valid photo identity card such as PAN card/ passport/ driving licence/ voter identity card/ college identity card or any other valid photo identity proof, with details of name, father’s name and date of birth
- Two passport size photographs same as uploaded in form,
- Black or blue ball point pen
To make examination process smooth, strict instructions have been conveyed beforehand only. As per instructions, candidates must neither resort to any unfair means nor do any indiscipline such as causing disturbance, rumours, sabotage. In the event of such a thing happening, he or she will be removed from exam and debarred from future AFCAT. No one should assist each other during exam.
It is further made clear that materials including textual material, calculators, docupen, slide rulers, log tables, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, mobile phones, blue tooth device, pager or any other digital device are not allowed at exam centres. Anyone with any such thing on person will be booked under trying to use unfair means. Moreover, do not bring any valuables at centres as you may not get place to keep them safely and centre shall not be responsible for any loss of valuables.
Candidates need to make own arrangements to reach centre for AFCAT 2018 supplementary exam. TA/DA will not be paid.
AFCAT admit card must be one’s own and not in any other person’s name. Also, it is issued based on details filled by candidate in form. Getting admit card does not mean that his or her candidature has been accepted.
Candidates must go through instructions in question paper. Also, a mock test is available at afcat.cdac.in for practice. Notice further says “After logging in for the examination, the onus of filling the correct information in relevant fields, as per the instructions given by the invigilator, is solely on the candidates.”
At exam centre, in attendance sheet, candidates need to paste a passport size colour photograph, give their thumb impression (right for women and left for men) and sign (before exam) and write the Session ID number (auto generated after logging in for examination), and again sign to mark their attendance (during exam). Similarly candidates are required to sign and give their thumb impression on the admit card also.
No one can leave exam hall before completion of AFCAT/EKT exam.
EKT exam takers will attend EKT exam for that subject only which is mentioned in their AFCAT admit cards.
