Indian Air Force has released the AFCAT 2 2022 application form today, June 01, 2022. The authority has also released the official notification on the website. The AFCAT 2 2022 application form can be checked and filled out on the official website, afcat.cdac.in. IAF is going to recruit candidates in Flying, Meteorology and NCC Special Entry cadre. The last date to fill out the AFCAT 2 application form is June 30, 2022. AFCAT 2 2022 exam is going to be held from August 26 to 28, 2022.
AFCAT 2 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility for AFCAT 2 for the Flying Branch and Ground Duty Technical is passing class 12th with 50% marks in Physics and Maths. Along with this, candidates should have qualified graduation with at least 60% marks. Whereas for the non-technical cadre, the basic eligibility is having passed Graduation with 50% marks in aggregate. The age limit prescribed for the Flying branch is going to be 20 to 24 years and the same for technical and non-technical staff is 20 to 26 years.
AFCAT 2 Exam Pattern
The selection of the candidates in the AFCAT 2 2022 exam shall be based on the basis of combined performance in the written exam, Air Force Selection Board Interview, Documents Verification and Medical Examination. The written exam is going to be held online with questions being asked in the objective mode. The AFCAT is going to be having four sections accounting for 100 questions and the EKT section shall have 50 questions.
AFCAT 2 Salary and Emoluments
Candidates who get selection in AFCAT 2 exam shall be appointed as a commission officer within the force. They shall be eligible to ge paid on the pay scale of INR 56100- 177500 (Level 10 In 7 CPC Pay Matrix).
AFCAT 2 Application Process
AFCAT 2 application is available on the official website of IAF. Candidates have to simply login to the official portal by completing the registration process. Post successful registration, candidates have to fill the remaining application form with details asked along with uploading of relevant documents. The application fee admissible to candidates applying for AFCAT 2 is INR 250.
