The Indian Air Force (IAF) has successfully conducted the first shift of the Air Force Common Admission Test or AFCAT 2022 today, i.e. February 12, 2022. The competitive exam will be held for another shift commencing at 02:15 PM. AFCAT 2022 is going to be held for two more days, i.e. on February 13 and 14, 2022. With the completion of the first shift of today’s exam, the answers keys and question paper analysis are being put up on various platforms.
Candidates were given a duration of 02 hours to appear for the test. It was held in the online mode. The pattern of the examination was MCQ-based. There were a total of 100 questions in the question paper and the maximum marks allotted to the same was 300. Moreover, the questions were asked from English, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test.
Where to check?
The official answer keys and question papers are not yet released. It is likely that the same will be available in due time. However, various coaching institutes and AFCAT educators have released the answer keys and question paper analysis sessions on platforms such as YouTube. Step 3- Numerous videos will be displayed
Step 4- Go through them one by one
Step 5- Calculate an expected score and analyze one’s overall performance.

These are some of the channels that are expected to come up with the answer keys, question papers and exam analysis sessions. However, the answer keys will be available in the form of paper discussion videos. For utmost accuracy, it is suggested to go through as many answer keys as possible.
Marking Scheme
As mentioned already, there are 100 questions in the AFCAT 2022 question paper. For every correct answer, 03 marks are awarded while for every incorrect answer, 01 mark is deducted. However, there are no marks for questions that are not attempted by the candidate. After referring to the answers keys to crosscheck the answers, candidates can utilize this marking scheme and calculate a tentative score.
