The Indian Air Force is all set to conduct the Air Force Common Admission Test, AFCAT 2022 on February 12, 13, and 14, 2022. The exam is scheduled to be held in two shifts for two hours each from 9.45 am to 11.45 am and 2:45 pm to 4:45 pm respectively. Admit cards for the first session of AFCAT 2022 have already been uploaded on its official website at afcat.cdac.in.
Candidates appearing for the AFCAT 2022 exam must note that they have to take a back-to-back printout of the admit card on the first page and COVID-19 guidelines on the back page. Along with this candidates must also take a printout of the self-declaration form and must attach it to the admit card copy. Candidates must know that the self-declaration form is compulsory to be carried and will be verified on the invigilators’ table at their respective exam center.
The Indian Air Force has made it compulsory to carry 2 passport size photos of themselves along with the admit card to the examination hall. Candidates must note that the photo must match the one they have uploaded along with their application form. Aadhar card along with one more photo identity proof is mandatory to carry along with the admit card. Applicants who fail to possess any of the aforementioned documents at the examination hall will be immediately disqualified from the examination.
Exam Day Guidelines, Dress Code
The AFCAT 2022 exam guidelines include some of the important points that candidates must take care of before approaching the examination hall. All applicants must report to their respective exam hall an hour prior to the commencement of the examination. Candidates must get their admit card signed by the invigilators at the examination hall. The invigilator will stick candidates’ photographs in from of them at the exam hall itself.
A dress code has been set up to avoid any conduction of any type of unfair means in the examination hall. Candidates must only wear slippers/sandals to the examination hall. The footwear must be flat and no socks or shoes are allowed to the examination hall. Apart from this candidates cannot wear jackets to the examination hall. Things that are prohibited at the examination hall are as follows: scarf, headgear, wristwatch, electronics watch, geometry box, pencil box, microphone, cell phone, calculator, log table, etc.
Applicants must carry a transparent water bottle and a hand sanitizer bottle to the examination hall. Maks must be worn at all times and social distancing must be maintained across the examination campus. All the guidelines issued by the government of India must be followed by all the applicants at every campus.
