The Bihar Public Service Commission(BPSC) has cancelled the 67th Combined Competitive Examination exam which was scheduled to be held on January 23, 2022. A fresh exam date will be announced in some time. Reason behind postponement / cancellation of the scheduled exam has not been specified. The candidates who applied for the exam can find the notice on the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in.
The 67th BPSC exam was scheduled for the fourth Sunday next month. The exam has been cancelled due to some unavoidable circumstances.

What will be the new exam date of 67th BPSC?
Since the commission has not specified why the exam has been postponed, it is difficult to predict what the next exam date will be. However, it can be speculated that the exam will not be held before February. Candidates need to keep checking the official website which is bpsc.bih.nic.in for new exam date notification.
Why has the exam been postponed?
Bihar Public Service Commission says that they have had to cancel / postpone the exam due to “unavoidable circumstances”. There are no local reports also until now stating the reason behind this sudden decision.
For the year 2021-2022, the BPSC has increased the number of vacancies for the Combined Competitive Exam(CCE) from the earlier 575 to 723. The exam will be conducted in two phases. The candidates who pass the preliminary phase of the exam get qualified for the main phase of the exam, which will be followed by an interview. The exam is conducted to fill in the vacancies available in 19 posts in the Bihar government.
67th BPSC CCE
The BPC preliminary exam is of 150 marks with a duration of 2 hours. The main exam is divided into four papers, each with a duration of 3 hours. The 67th BPC CCE will have questions from the following topics.

- Geography (India & Bihar)
- Rivers (Bihar)
- India’s polity
- Indian economy
- The economy of Bihar after Freedom
- Indian Movements and Contribution of Bihar
The candidates can prepare efficiently for the upcoming BPSC Combined Competitive Exam by comprehensive coverage of the whole syllabus. Since the exam is postponed, the candidates can now prepare further for the exam by attempting the previous year question papers and mock tests. During the extra time that is available now for the candidates, they can improve their knowledge in the syllabus by attempting the mock tests. The question papers will have questions available in both Hindi and English.
