The issuance of admit cards for the Xavier Admission Test (XAT) 2022 has been delayed. The Xavier School of Management (XLRI) was supposed to release the admit cards on December 20. However, now, it will now be releasing the same tomorrow, i.e. December 22. Candidates who have applied for the test will be able to download the XAT 2022 admit card from tomorrow onwards. Despite this delay in releasing the admit cards, the exam dates remain unchanged.
XAT 2022 will be conducted on January 02, 2022. Candidates have to download the admit cards from the official website – xatonline.in. Here are the steps to download the hall tickets.
Step 1- Go to xatonline.in and click on the ‘Admit Card’ button on the top-right corner of the screen
Step 2- Enter the XAT ID and date of birth and click on the ‘Login’ button
Step 3- Now, click on the ‘Admit Card’ option after which the admit card will be displayed
Step 4- Download and take a printout of the XAT 2022 admit card
Please note that the link for downloading the admit cards has not been activated on the official website yet. It will be available from tomorrow onwards. The above-mentioned steps for downloading the XAT 2022 admit card are based on the steps that were followed previously.
Candidates must mandatorily carry the admit cards along with a valid ID proof on the examination day. According to the prescribed XAT 2022 syllabus, the examination will have a total of 100 multiple-choice questions that will be divided among 04 sections. The sections include Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge.
Every candidate will be given a duration of 03 hours to complete the test. As per the existing marking scheme, 01 mark will be awarded to every correct answer while 0.25 marks are going to be subtracted from every incorrect answer. However, there is no negative marking in the General Knowledge section of the paper.
Those candidates who are aiming for a good XAT 2022 score must take as many mock tests as possible before the examination. Moreover, to improve the Verbal Ability section, one should read newspapers, books, novels, etc. Also, going through the previous years’ question papers will also give an idea about what type of questions are usually asked in the exam. In order to get hold of the basics in the Quantitative Ability section, it is advised to go through the NCERT Mathematics books of classes 09 and 10.
