NEET UG 2021 Result

The NEET-UG 2021 examination was successfully conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on September 12, 2021. However, so far, there has been no declaration regarding the announcement of the results. As of now, a major uncertainty looms over when the results will be declared. In fact, neet.nta.nic.in has not made any official announcement regarding the same. Nonetheless, candidates who have appeared for NEET UG 2021 must keep an eye on the official website to stay updated.

Recently, a plea has been filed in the apex court seeking the cancellation of the NEET-UG 2021 exam held on September 12, 2021. The plea comes after the fiasco over the alleged paper leak concerns. The plea now demands fresh exams to be conducted again. Now, NTA has been asked to submit an affidavit within a week as to why the exam should not be cancelled and conducted again.

In the wake of the recent uprisings over NEET-UG 2021, it is likely that the result declaration might get delayed. The major question that bothers the students is whether the previously conducted examination will stand cancelled or not. However, it is too early to jump to any conclusions until a verdict is announced regarding the matter. The result declaration process for NEET UG 2021, as of now, depends on whether the plea is accepted or rejected by the Supreme Court of India.

As per the information bulletin of NEET-UG 2021, NTA will evaluate the answer sheets using a standard procedure and then display the result on neet.nta.nic.in. Thereafter, the students can download the scorecards from the same website. This year, it is very likely that the results of NEET-UG will be declared by the third week of October 2021.

In 2020, the NEET examination was held on September 13, 2020, while the results were declared on October 16, 2020. This means that the results were announced 33 days after the examination was held. Similarly, in 2019, the examination was held on May 05, 2019, and the results were available on June 05, 2019, i.e. 31 days after the examination.

Similarly, back in 2018, NEET UG was held on May 06, 2018, and the results were announced on June 04, 2018. This means that the results were declared 29 days after the entrance test was held. Based on the previous result declaration trends of NEET-UG, this year, the results are expected within 30 to 33 days from the examination. Tentatively, candidates are likely to get the same between October 12, 2021, and October 15, 2021. Now, whether the results are declared as per these dates or not is yet to be seen.
