After Madhyamik examinations, West Bengal board is all set for HS examinations. On February 26, West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary (WBCHSE) has started the class 11th and 12th examinations. As per the HS routine first examination is of the First language. The examination timings for class 12th students are from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm. And so, the students are asked to reach their respective exam centre by 9:00 am.

Around 8,16,243 students have appeared for WB HS 2019 examinations. There are total 713 exam centres allotted for the examinations to conduct at the state level.

In order to conduct the Higher Secondary examinations smoothly, West Bengal board has taken various steps to avoid cheating during the exams. Thus, to make ensure this, mobile phones or any other electronic items are strictly banned inside the examination hall. At the same time, one invigilator will keep an eye on all the individuals inside the examination hall to make clear that no one makes the use of any electronic gadgets or the mobile phones inside the examination hall. On the other hand, at the sensitive examination centres 500 special nominees of WBCHSE appointed for each centre.

Before entering the examination, all the candidates are checked through hand-held metal detectors. As per the decision of a district administrator videography conducted inside the examination hall. So, there is no provision of cheating cases during the exams. Keeping in mind the leaking of paper of Madhyamik examinations West Bengal board has now become more strict against any violation of the rules.

As a result, any individual if found with the restricted items inside the examination hall then he or she will not be allowed to appear for the exams and registration will also be canceled as a punishable act.

West Bengal HS examinations are going to conduct from February 26 to March 13. After the first examination, the next examination is now on February 28. This year the number of girls appeared for the exams are more as compared to the boys.

At the same time, West Bengal class 11th examinations start from today. The examinations will continue till March 13, 2019. The examination timings for class 11th students are from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm. Students of class 11th are also not allowed to carry any electronic item inside the examination hall.
