Women and Child Development Department, Patan, Gujarat have recently released an official notification related to the recruitment of Anganwadi Centre. The conducting body has announced 189 posts for the Anganwadi Helper and Anganwadi Worker post. The recruitment to the announced posts is under Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) under WCD, Patan district. Online applications have started from July 24, 2020, onwards. Interested and eligible candidates can submit application forms against the recruitment on or before the last date, August 13, 2020. Before applying, candidates must ensure that they satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by WCD, Patan. Candidates must be 10th pass to submit the forms for Anganwadi Helper. 12th pass candidates can apply for the post of Anganwadi Worker. Moreover, candidates should be minimum of 18 years of age before they apply for the post. The maximum age limit is 33 years on the last date of the application form process. Candidates must have acquired their educational qualification from board/schools of Gujarat state only. Moreover, they must be a local resident of Patan district to apply for vacancies under WCD, Patan.
Application procedure for WCD, Patan is conducted through e-hrms.gujarat.gov.in website. Aspirants who fulfil the eligibility norms have to register first and then proceed for form submission. They can get the application form link under recruitment > apply > Advertisement for the post of AWW/AWH–PATAN > Apply. Here, they shall read the important instructions. Candidates are asked to enter the district, Anganwadi, taluka, village, name of the candidate in Gujarati and English language. Provide an active mobile number in the registration form to receive the OTP. After entering it, candidates are registered successfully. The registration number/ID is displayed on the screen after a successful registration. Right after the registration, candidates are led to the form submission. Here, they have to enter their personal details and upload scanned images of the photograph, signature, affidavit of Rs. 100/-, 10th standard certificate, 12th standard certificate and others.
The selection of the eligible candidates is conducted based on the merit list. The conducting body prepares the merit list on the basis of the marks candidates have acquired in the 10th or 12th class, their age and other eligibility aspects. Determined by the merit list, candidates are invited for the interview round. The date, time and venue for the interview will be conveyed later on.
