Women and Child Development, Gujarat is recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Anganwadi Helper and Anganwadi Worker. The recruitment is announced for the following districts – Navsari, Panchmahal, Surendranagar, Chhota Udepur, Sabarkatha, Anand, Banaskantha, Dahod, Devbhumi Dwarka and Gir Somnath. As per the official notices, a total of 2261 vacancies are out for the said posts. Eligible applicants can submit their form on or before the last date of form submission i.e September 13, 2020. To apply for the Anganwadi Helper and Anganwadi Worker post, candidates must pass 10th class/ class 12th. Those who are more qualified than the prescribed educational qualification are also eligible to apply for Aganwadi Helper and Angwanwai Worker post. Applicants should have attained the minimum age limit of 18 years while applying for the announced posts. Their age should not exceed that of 33 years. Candidates who are eligible as per the eligibility criteria can submit their application form by visiting e-hrms.gujarat.gov.in. Here, they can get the application form link by clicking on the recruitment link > apply > selection the district for which candidates wish to apply for > then click on the apply button. Aspirants have to register themselves first to receive a registration number. An OTP is also sent to the candidate’s mobile number to verify the contact details. Now, utilize the mobile number to log in and fill the online application form. Once done, take a clear print out of the filled-in application form and keep it safe for future use.
While registering candidates are asked to submit details such as the district, taluka, Anganwadi, mobile number. In the application form, registered applicants have to enter the following details – category, date of birth, educational qualification information, and upload photograph, signature, date of birth proof, residential proof, affidavit of Rs. 100/- and 10th/12th pass certificate.
The selection for Anganwadi Helper and Worker under these districts is based on the educational qualification and marks obtained by them in 10th/12th class. On the basis of the marks in educational qualification, WCD Gujarat prepares a merit list to shortlist candidates for the announced posts. The final merit list is published on the Women and Child Development website, e-hrms.gujarat.gov.in.
