New Delhi’s Vasant Valley School has been crowned with Number 1 Day Co-ed School award by none other than the prestigious magazine – EducationWorld. In the Annual Education World School Ranking Survey, the magazine released EducationWorld India School Ranking for the year 2018-2019. The rankings were released by EducationWorld magazine on Saturday, September 29, 2018.
Vasant Valley School has received this honor after careful examination of 1000 schools across 27 cities. The EducationWorld magazine has classified these schools in 4 categories; namely – Day-Co-Ed, Day-Cum-Boarding, Girls School and Boys School. Vasant Valley School received the acclamation under the Day-Co-Ed category.
As the classification procedure of EducationWorld magazine, about 12,214 important people including Principles, Senior Students and parents were interviewed and rated schools on the basis of 14 parameters of excellence. The schools are also tested on the basis of a number of other factors including the School’s Faculty, Safety, Hygiene, and Academic Reputation.
During the interview, Dilip Thakore, Editor and Publisher of EducationWorld explained the selection procedure a little more. In this tough fight, the Principles, Senior Students and parents are asked to give marks from 1-100. When these marks were taken into account by the experts, the name that shined the best among the rest was Vasant Valley School.
During the event, the happiest person, not to mention, was the Principle of Vasant Valley School, Rekha Krishnan. She explained the success mantra which the school follows. Vasant Valley school ranked #1 Day Co-ed School By EducationWorld India School Rankings 2018-19 because of 3 major factors. The school has continuously given unparallel individual attention to students. Along with this, the school also has excellence in co-curricular education, teacher welfare and development programme and Special Needs Education.
During her interview at the grand event, Rekha Krishnan explained how the school takes care of their students and gives individual attention to each of them. She also shared how it became possible for the school to be so much considerate for the students. Krishnan further added that over all these years the school has worked diligently to formulate a relationship of trust between the teachers and students.
As much the principle praised the efforts of the school’s faculty, she also patted on the back of her students for their consistent diligence. She said that the students at Vasant Valley school have always stayed motivated to perform their best on their own and are not forced or pushed to do so.
There are 1200 students in Vasant Valley School and 170 teachers are there, spreading each and every word of knowledge they know. Considering this number, it can be said that the school has a great teacher-student ratio. The perfect teacher-student ratio served as the basis on which the school has provided unparallel individual attention to students.
