Class 10 and 12 evaluation strategy
In the wake of the second wave of COVID-19, UBSE curated two separate methodologies for evaluating class 10 and 12 students. Accordingly, class 10 students have been evaluated based on a 75:25 formula – 75% weightage to class 9 performance and 25% weightage to internal assessments and pre-boards in class 10.
In case of class 12 students, UBSE employed the 50:40:10 evaluation methodology. Accordingly, 50% weightage was given to performance in class 10, 40% to class 11 marks and the remaining 10% to internals and practical in class 12. Similar strategies have been employed by other central and state boards to evaluate students.
