The Board’s Class 10 and 12 roll number finders are available on upmsp.edu.in. Students can log in using their registration number and check their roll numbers, essential for viewing their results. To check the results, candidates must visit upresults.nic.in and click on the links ‘UP Board Class XII Examination – 2021’ and ‘UP Board Class X Examination – 2021’. A new window will open where the students have to enter their Roll number followed by the school code and captcha and then click on the submit button. The results will be displayed and they can download them or take a printout for future references. In addition to this website, students can also access their results via other websites like indiaresults.com. If a student has not downloaded their roll number, then they must do so immediately.
Note that the result link will only be updated after the publication of the results on the website. However, it must be noted that the downloaded results must not be considered as the original marksheets. The Board will issue the original marksheets separately.
This year, the exams had to be postponed twice. As per the schedule, the exams were supposed to be held in April, 2021 but were postponed to May, 2021 due to the Panchayat elections. But again, after the Centre’s decision to cancel all Board exams, the UP government decided to withhold the State’s Class 10 and 12 exams.
The evaluation assessment determined for the Class 10 students will be based on the average of the Class 9 marks and the pre-board exams held during Class 10. Similarly, the criteria of assessment for the Class 12 students will rely on 50 % marks from Class 10 results, while the remaining 40% and 10% weightage will be based on the Class 11 marks and the pre-board marks for Class 12, respectively.
Last year, the UP Class 10 results were declared on June 27, 2020. Out of the total 30,24,632 students who had registered for the exams, the pass percentage stood at 83.31%. The pass percentage for the Class 12 students in 2020 stood at 74.63%.
