UPTET 2021 exam is scheduled to be held on November 28, 2021, in two shifts i.e. paper 1 from 10 am to 12.30 pm and paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Candidates going to appear for the exam must have downloaded their UPTET admit card from the official website, updeled.gov.in.
It is advisable to check the reporting time mentioned on the admit card of TET, UP. The candidate must also adhere to the guidelines notified by the concerned authorities on the exam day. The concerned authorities have issued admit cards along with important instructions such as carrying an original copy of the photo identity proof and mark sheets of the qualifying exam.
Dress Code for UPTET 2021
The official brochure of UPTET instructs candidates to wear face masks in the exam hall all the time. This is in observance of the COVID protocols and SOPs. Candidates are also asked to carry a bottle of sanitizer and practice social distancing in this regard.
Several media reports suggest the dress code for UPTET 2021, and as per that candidates must refrain from wearing full sleeve clothes, clothes that have big buttons, caps, scarfs, etc to the exam hall. The candidates are also warned of refraining from clothes with lots of pockets, accessories like belts, big earrings, etc as it may look suspicious and pose a problem for them during the examination. In case, candidates are found violating any of the norms listed by the authorities, their candidature can be canceled.
This year, the board is taking many precautionary measures to ensure fair examination. Earlier, there have been reports that some disturbing elements may try to hamper the UPTET examination. Hence, the district administration has decided to impose section 144 at least 200 yards from the exam centre premises to prevent any malpractices in the exam. Along with this, this time there shall be a live video recording during the examination to make sure that it is conducted fairly.
UPTET examination is held for two papers i.e. paper 1 for primary and paper 2 for upper primary teachers. Paper 1 is held for 150 minutes and has 150 questions from Mathematics, Child development, and pedagogy, Language – I (Hindi), Language – II(Urdu/ Sanskrit /English). Similarly, paper 2 is also held for 150 minutes and has questions from Child development and pedagogy, Language – I (Hindi), Language – II(Urdu/ Sanskrit /English), Mathematics and Science or Social Studies.
UPTET or Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is an annual examination held to provide TET certificates to candidates willing to go for the examination. Candidates who are selected after appearing in the examination will be provided with the certificate making them eligible for Primary or Upper Primary class.
